NOTD: Layla Ceramic Effect 54

Hi folks!

So I've been on an informal low buy for a few months now (moving halfway across the country put quite the dent in my pocket, and we really want to buy a house in the next year or two) but I kept seeing this polish at Ulta. Layla Ceramic Effect #54 is this gorgeous green glitter.

At first, I thought it was various sized green hex glitter in black jelly base but it turns out that it is a green jelly base. I thought that it would go pretty great with my favorite green polish of all time- Le Chat Dare To Wear Enchanted Forest. So I wore one coat of it as an accent over Enchanted Forest.

The result? I just can't look away from my fingers. So, so pretty! I'm so glad that I snagged this Layla on clearance- with an Ulta coupon too! Not too bad, I've only purchased five polishes in the last few months, and three of them were Sinful Colors ($1.99 each) and the other two were on clearance. Not bad at all.

I may trash this low buy in the next few weeks though, I have a certain fondness for holographic nail polishes as you may know. The 2013 Color Club Halo Hues look absolutely divine and a few shades of the China Glaze upcoming holo collection look rather appealing too.
