EOTD With Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palette

Tuesday, June 16, 2015

Hi folks!

A friend of mine went to IMATS earlier this year and snagged me one of the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palettes. Since it's sold out now (but you can find it on eBay for $50-70), I thought it'd be a bit cruel to review and swatch it. So here's just a look I did with it and a rather hurried description of the palette itself.

Just a run down - the colors are predominately warm and finishes range from matte to metallic. All of the shades are quite pigmented and so far I haven't run into one that was unpleasant, formula wise. For some reason, there's just this one cool green chilling in the corner. I have yet to figure out how to incorporate it into a look.

For this look, I used many of the matte brown and orange shades for the crease and transition, and used the bright orange metallic on the mobile lid.

Other products:

Brows: Kanebo KATE Eyebrow Pencil
Eyes: Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer, Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palette, Esqido Oh So Sweet Lashes*, Julep Gel Eye Glider in Navy Smoke, Inglot Eyeliner Gel #77.
