I have not written a fragrance review in quite some time, mainly because I've been preoccupied for the same scent for the last few months. My friend Trisha gave me a small decant of Tom Ford Oud Wood, from the Private Blend collection and I'm enjoying each wear more and more.

Good afternoon!

Earlier this year, Sephora offered Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black as a deluxe 100-point reward and I was very happy to add it to an order. I had sampled it previously along with Nirvana White and while I felt that this perfume lacked complexity, it wasn't a bad scent to wear.

Good afternoon!

Sephora currently has NEST Fragrances Midnight Fleur Eau de Parfum as a deluxe sample, and I added it to an order a few weeks back. I've sniffed it before in store and didn't care for it, but somehow between then and now I must have decided that it was worth revisiting. Besides, look at that packaging!

Good evening!

I fondly think of TokyoMilk as the Skittles of the fragrance world. Much like a sugary impulse buy at the check out line, TokyoMilk manages to satisfy occasional cravings but will by no means break the bank. Since I first blogged about the TokyoMilk Dark scent Tainted Love, I've tried out six more TM scents. My feelings were mixed; some were odd and quirky, some mild and not unpleasant while some were just downright disagreeable. Dead Sexy No. 06 is the latest that I've tried and its certainly very interesting.

Good evening!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I've been a bit busy, going from store to store, trying to find a dress for our wedding reception next weekend and to buy last minute gifts for relatives that I haven't seen in years. I'm unwinding now and wanted to review one of my favorite fragrances Diptyque Philosykos. Philosykos is arguably the most popular fragrance by Diptyque and comes in EdT, EdP, solid perfume and perfumed oil, as well as a body lotion. Since the EdP and EdT develop differently on me, today I'm reviewing just the Philosykos Perfumed Oil Roll On.

Lately I've been a tad preoccupied with expanding my fragrance wardrobe. Part of it has to do with being bed bound a lot, I might not wear makeup most days but I can still spritz on a new scent and sniff at myself contently while utterly exhausting my Netflix queue. I've been fascinated with fragrances with salty notes, so Hermes Eau des Merveilles seemed like a good choice because hey, there's got to be a reason why it's popular, right?

Some people ride motorcycles. Some people hang out in cages underwater with sharks. My idea of living dangerously is much more mild; on occasion I find myself buying a perfume blind. Er, unsniffed. Throw in some great decision making made after 2 AM and that's how I ended up with Atelier Cologne Bois Blonds.

Recently the French line Diptyque created parfum versions of some of their most popular EdTs. I was very lucky and managed to get my hands on a deluxe travel sized (12 ml) spray of Tam Dao. I have long admired Tam Dao in EdT form but this was a whole different level of sensory bliss!

You know, I'm not usually a gourmand fan, I'm quite wary when it comes to fragrances that even have a whiff of food like notes. The only gourmand I've really liked in recent memory was Jo Malone Lemon Tart from the Sugar and Spice Collection and it still pains me a bit that I was foolish enough to pass on that. Let's not speak of that. When I recently acquired Laura Mercier Eau Gourmande Almond Coconut EdT, I had high hopes because I quite like both almond and coconut quite a bit. It was a risky "blind" buy and I'm a bit ashamed of myself for not sniffing it first.
