Oopsie Daisies Sanderson Sisters Trio

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Good evening friends!

Tonight I have the Oopsie Daisies Sanderson Sisters trio to show you. Inspired by the movie Hocus Pocus (the rock I lived under didn't have this movie, I'm missing out!), each polish based off of each sister's costume.

For Thy Sisters. A blood red squishy red jelly with silver holo, silver and red glitters. Two coats.

I'll Take Thee Away. This is a stunning fuchsia jelly packed with lavender, pink, fuchsia and big pink holo dots.  I wore two coats with a bit of dabbing for the circle placement.

Witchcraft. A black jelly with teal, green, silver and blue glitter with big teal holo dots. Two coats again, with big glitter placement.

The two shades with the big glitter come with extra circle glitter that you can add directly into the polish or keep around for placement because despite using a high quality uncut base, circle glitters are heavy and tend to sink a bit. In my experience the sinking wasn't really bad at all, nothing that tipping the bottle over for a few minutes before application couldn't fix. They don't completely lay at the bottom of the bottle, they just hang down lower in the bottle, if that makes any sense. The formulas were a bit thicker (which makes complete sense. If they were thin those lovely big dots would just sink completely) but not unusable by any means.

I thought that all three of these shades were exceptionally beautiful, I always love a good jelly! Each shade really uses great colors and there was a lot of depth.

Each of these shades are $8.50 and can be purchased here at the Oopsie Daisies Etsy store. For the latest news and swatches, be sure to follow the Oopsie Daisies Facebook page.
