Ozotic Elytra #530
Wednesday, June 6, 2012
I've wanted Ozotics for the longest time, but I really didn't want to pay that much for them! I was so excited when Llarowe and Overall Beauty started to carry them, because before you could only really have a CP or group order to get them here in the US. Still, at $18.50 each... it was a lot to pay for one bottle of polish!
Recently, they were discounted because there was news that a lot of the Ozotic polishes were being discontinued. I panicked. I did. I feared I would never get my hands on this lovely color shifting glitter polish. Finally during my birthday, I gave in and bought 530 at the discounted price.
Lemming satisfied! Lovely fine glitter that shifts from fuchsia to orange to sort of cool yellow in a sheer base. It was a bit more sparse than I thought it would be, I used two coats on top of black to achieve this glitter density. I didn't put a matte coat on it (though that would undoubtedly look awesome) I just picked some weird angles so that you could see the color shift.
Was it worth it? Sort of. I mean, I feel better now that I don't have to worry about it being un-obtainable. I do however, feel a bit silly for paying over ten bucks for a bottle of glitter polish.
Have you ever purchased something because it was being discontinued and you didn't want to miss out? Own any other neat Ozotics that I should check out?
