Bettina Feathered Ikat Manicure

Good evening, folks!

While I was in Puerto Rico, I made it my sole mission to pick up some more Bettina Polishes. (Morgan was not pleased.) I've managed to accumulate about 16 bottles of these most excellent Bettinas thanks to my buddy Kat of Hooked on Polish but I'm not sure if I've shown you any yet.

I started out with a black base and used a dry brush to feather on color, starting with Premium Wash Jeans at the tips, then working back towards the cuticle. I also used Lyrical, Aqua and Grape.

It didn't turn out exactly like I thought it would... but I really dig the colors. Someone on Instagram commented that it looked like a feather waterfall. I think that is a very kind description so we'll go with it.

I'm super excited for my new Bettinas. Bettina is a company in Puerto Rico and you can find their polishes at places like Wagreens. They're 2 for $5 and just fantastic for nail art and watermarbling. The cremes are just out of this world!
