50 Words or Less, Vol. VI: Handcare Products

Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Good evening! It's been a while since my last installment of this serious. For those who are new to it, I occasionally like to do roundups of products with brief reviews because I can get overly verbose sometimes when describing say, hand cream. Tonight's products are all hand/nail care related.

Poshe AHA Cuticle Care. A light cuticle cream with AHA acting as a chemical exfoliant. Not as instantly gratifying as a cuticle remover but over time, using this helps keep cuticles soft and supple. I try to remember to put this one before bed.

EZ Flow Hand Renew Moisturizing Sugar Scrub. A nice citrus scented hand scrub. Leaves a bit of oily residue, so I use soap to wash it off. Even after that though, it feels lightly moisturizing, really not bad at all though small in size.

Nail Tek Foundation I Ridge Filling Base Coat. I've used Nail Tek Foundation II before, this seems more lightweight. Dries matte, pretty decent at filling in ridges and lending strength to nails.

Gena ManiSpa Pink Grapefruit Cuticle Gel. I adore this cuticle gel! It's like a cuticle oil, but in a denser gel form. Cute dropper dispenses just the right amount. The oil is more dry feeling, not greasy at all. Wonderful grapefruit scent.
Body Drench Argon Oil Replenishing Body Butter. Smells absolutely divine. A silky body butter that sinks into skin easily, not greasy or heavy at all. Now that I've tried this butter, I'm dying to get my hands on the other products in the line.

Overall I was happy with all five products but without a doubt, the stand outs to me were the Body Drench Body Butter and the Gena Cuticle Gel!

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
