A Brown-Green Duochrome Comparison

Thursday, April 18, 2013
Duochrome shadows are my absolute weakness and I can never, ever seem to pass them up. I was organizing my stash this last week and sheepishly realized that I had at least eight brown-green shadows. I'm a little ashamed to admit that at various times I owned even more but my MAC Green Brown Pigment is MIA, I broke MAC Club a few years ago and swapped away Too Faced Label Whore. BUY ALL THE DUOCHROMES!

From left to right: LORAC 3D Multiplex Palette, Wet'n'Wild Comfort Zone Palette, Wet'n'Wild Night Elf Palette, Rock & Republic Lawsuit, Chanel Sphinx, Prestige Bewitched, Catrice C'mon Chameleon!, L'oreal HiP Intrepid Pigment. All swatched on bare skin.

Chanel Sphinx has the largest green sparkle, but also the crappiest duochrome out of the bunch. Rock & Republic Lawsuit is the coolest and has the finest and most intense duochrome. You'd think that the two Wet'n'Wild shades would be the same, but I find the shadow in Comfort Zone to have more green. Prestige Total Intensity Bewitched is the lightest of the bunch, almost a frosty tan. I think that L'oreal HiP Intrepid is the most eye catching but sadly it is also discontinued. Heck, the majority of these shades are discontinued or HTF. Sorry for taunting you.

Do you have a certain shade of shadow or any other product really, where you keep buying it over and over despite the possibility of dupes?
