Navy Skittles

Tuesday, April 9, 2013
Hi folks!

I really wanted to use the image from the Bundle Monster 201 plate today (the chevron one) so I did a skittle manicure today.

I used Pure Ice Party Hard as the base color. It's a dark navy that looks almost black. It's a really wonderful polish, thin but really opaque. Practically a one coater, but I used two because it leveled better that way. That was one of the polishes that I won a while back.

I used BM201 and Konad White to stamp my pointer finger. For my middle finger, I sponged on a bit of Pure Ice Heart Breaker, one of my favorite polishes because of the color shifting sparkle. I also added two small rhinestones. On my ring finger I accented it with a coat of Innisfree #111. Finally on my pinky, I created the gradient effect with Sinful Colors Snow White and also a dab of Heart Breaker.

Overall, I'm rather pleased with this manicure. I'm pretty sure that it's my first time doing skittles!
